I’m running for Mercer County District 2 Magistrate because the people of our district deserve better transparency and a real voice in local government. Too often residents feel left in the dark or treated like an afterthought on decisions that affect their daily lives. I believe it’s time for a new voice. someone who will listen, be careful with taxpayer dollars, support smart growth that fits our community, and protect the farmland, utilities, and quality of life that make Mercer County home. I love this county and the people in it, and I want to do right by them.
I believe that local government belongs to the people, and that means we need absolute transparency in everything we do. If you elect me, I will fight to end the use of local non-disclosure agreements. When our local government signs NDAs, it shuts the public out of the conversation and keeps important decisions in the dark. You have a right to know what is happening in your own town, how decisions are being made, and where your resources are going. We do not need secrets; we need open doors, honest communication, and accountability. I am running to make sure our local government is completely open to the community we serve, and banning local NDAs is a vital step toward earning back your trust.
